Corrupt Boot
I lost a disk to a SMART failure, removed it, but now the remaining disc says "corrupt root" in Raidar and won't allow me into the setup menu. I've scanned the disc with Seatools (both Seagate ST3150...
Did that a couple of weeks ago, was given case number 20449961. They told me my Duo was out of warranty and gave the suggestion to come here. I don't care about the disc (either of the two) just want the data. The "corrupt boot" disc tests good. It's a Unix format file structure, right? Do you know of any utility or procedure to reconstruct the boot section? Or a Unix utility to back up or recover the files?
