CrashPlan Fatal Java error after update to OS 6.6.1

I upgraded OS yesterday and now CrashPlan is crashing.

# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:

If I manually start it from the CLI and then check status:

root@NAS:/usr/local/crashplan/bin# ./CrashPlanEngine start
Starting CrashPlan Engine ... Using standard startup
OK
root@NAS:/usr/local/crashplan/bin# ./CrashPlanEngine status
CrashPlan Engine (pid 30330) is running.
root@NAS:/usr/local/crashplan/bin# ./CrashPlanEngine status

CrashPlan Engine is stopped.
root@NAS:/usr/local/crashplan/bin# df -h

Any ideas?

  • Yes. Disable antivirus. Mine is working fine once I turned av off.

Which firmware did you update from? That would show in initrd.log

Had fun getting it all reinstalled and the client setup again but it is working once again. THANKS
