Dead PSU NV+ - Can I simply plug and play in new ReadyNAS?
Hi All, I've a ReadyNAS NV+ which seems to have a failed PSU - from online forums I see that these are a part that's no longer available (thanks Netgear) and I need to access the data that's stored on...
Are you the original owner? If so when did you buy it?
Is your unit serial number within the range defined here:

If so, contact Netgear support, they should send you a replacement. If they don't, post your case number here in the thread title.
If it's not within that range you have some options:
1. Try to find a psu, they are around,depending on where you live eg.

2. Find another nv+ , then you can migrate your disks, just ask here for instructions on how to do this.
3. Buy a new readynas 104,204 or314 then contact support who will assist you in migrating the disks. Don't insert the disks into the new unit until support tells you to, and you will need somewhere to backup the data. You'll need proof of purchase of course.
