Deleted 4.9TB, free space not returning OS 6.6.1

I recently ran a backup on my 316 for a particular share from one volume to another on my 316 with and EDA500 on it. 

 

I deleted the share on vol1 as it's now on vol2 and I wanted to recover the free space. 

 

It's been a few days and the free space has not shown up yet. 

 

 

I looked around on the forum and saw similar issues with previous firmware. No real solution that I could see.
