Same problem here, but with a Philips TV and the Ready NAS Duo.
My PC sees everything (inkl. Streaming-Server (Twonky, ReadyDLNA), TV and NAS (as a networkdevice)) in Network,
my TV sees the Librarys of my PC (due to WMP11, i guess) and can stream Media with no problem, but he does not detect my NAS or Streamingserver.
I've been trying for several days now, but i cant solve the problem.
I tried the following, all without success.
-of course newest version of software on every possible 'problem'-device (TV, Router, NAS).
-My TV should specifically work with TwonkyMedia Server. I installed it (two different versions), PC sees it, TV not.
-I disabled/enabled in various constellations the UPnP service of my Router and the one on my NAS (in case of compatibility problems?)
-I waited for a long time for the TV to detect the NAS (I read somewhere that Twonky sends out a 'statusreport' ("I'm here") only every 15 min or so)
Something odd i noticed is, that i had the ReadyDLNA version 1.0.18 on my NAS when delivered. but the official latest version is the 1.0.17. (which i did install now). In case that helps somehow (eg. "Thats a corrupted malware version smuggled in the manufatury of Netgear by Pirates! no wonder your NAS does'nt work!")
At the moment i think it could be a config. problem on the router. But in fact, I have no clue.
I would be really happy if someone has an idea i did'nt find in the forum or havent thought of yet.
Thanks in advance,
Samuel
