DLNA not working with Samsung TV
Hi, I just got a NV+ 4210
I enabled the DLNA service and I can connect with my windows media player on my lap top to the ReadyNAS.
I have a samsung tv with DNLA, I have used my old NAS, a synology disk station to stream to the tv.... worked fine.
But now the tv cant find the ReadyNAS... It can find my laptop though
Any good suggestion ???

- mrx65aAspirantI agree. Problem with DLNA is for quite some time now.
Hope a solution will be presented quickly.
In the meantime, this is no good customer support!
Sorry to say. - mrx65aAspirantAnd they even don't bother to respond.
Shame. - b00st3dAspirantdoes the dlna show up if you hit the rescan button in frontview?
- Lambo1AspirantRADYS NAS DUO / SAMSUNG LE40C750
Since READYNAS update connection between ReadyNas and the Samsung Tv breaks down.
Long loadtimes and then connection breakdown.
DNAL connection is fine. / Often searched for new connection / TV + ReadyNas Duo restarts / TV and ReadyNas are updated
 Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance - I am having a similar issue.
My guess is its since the latest firmware update (.18)
My ReadyNas Duo cuts out at random intervals when watching anything on my Samsung TV. It did not do it before the firmware update.
Any ideas? - Has anyone found any solutions?
- Bump for a DLNA fix...
- d14bloAspirantHas anyone tried temporarily turning off the firewall within their router? it may be a firewall rule causing the issues.
- dkmjAspirantI've got the same issue on my 46´ samsung that more are reporting. broadcast och 'conection made' on screen every once in a while and frequent streaming interruptions on files that were streaming just fine before updating to 4.2.21 on my Ultra6. Updating ReadyDLNA to latest .25 realease made no difference. no firewall involed.
useless as a streaming solution until resolved - NASguruApprenticeI had a similiar issue as well. Both of my Samsung TVs 2011/2012 were not displaying the movie folders after upgrading to 4.2.21. I initially created a new folder under my media share but that only solved one of two folders. In any event, going to Frontview, Services, Streaming Servcies and clicking re-scan did the trick. I'm still running 1.0.24.5 and haven't bothered upgrading to .25 at this point. Hope this helps?
