Downsizing 2 drive nas
I have many times inceased the size of my nas by replacing a drive at a time resyncing and then rebooting the device. Can i reverse this process to take 2tb drives out and replace with 1tb drives. ...
One is a newer os6 which has 1tb drives. The nas with the 2tb that i was going to downsize is much older. Sounds like i need to move the data from the old nas with 2tb then put 1tb drives in and then replace data. Then i can upgrade the 1tb nas to 2tb.... ohh the fun of data moving
