Dropbox backup was working but no longer synchronizing

I had my backup to Drobox feature on my ReadyNAS 104 working great, it copied all my files up to the Dropbox but recently when I've clicked on the Sync button to push up the new files since the last upload, I get the spinning circle for about 1 second then it stops and no changes are uploaded.

I just updated to 6.5.0 today, hoping it might fix the issue but it is still unresolved.  I just tried to turn the Dropbox featuere OFF and then back ON to see if that would fix it but now when I click Authorize I get this error:

What could be the issue?

  • Hello JeremyL,

Please check if the ReadyNAS really updated the firmware. I believe the DropBox is no longer under Backup tab in 6.5.0. It should be under Cloud now and there will be no Authorize but ON/OFF and Settings where you will enter the ReadyCloud account.

Sorry, I didn't have email notification turned on so assumed there were no reponses to my question.

I could have sworn that even after the most recent firmware update that it was still listed under Backup but I just checked and sure enough its under Cloud.  I was able to turn it back on and also love the new feature that you can select multiple folders to backup.  The only other thing I look forward to in the future is a feature of scheduled Dropbox backups so I don't have to login and click Sync every so often.

      Thanks for the help!

UNder 6.5 the Dropbox option is still under the Cloud tab. Problem is if I turn it on it does not see the shares. If I then click authorize I see the following error. The requested URL /admin/callback.html was not found on this server.

        Hello tcworddreams,

It is under Cloud tab, Authorize button should be there anymore. Switching it ON will give you box where you can enter your login for Dropbox then once you are back to the admin page click Settings, this will allow you to select a share from the drop down menu, it may appear grayed out but it is clickable.
