Dropbox with RN314 doesnt work #25956706
Just for visitors to know
Readynas RN314 dropbox sync is not working. It destroys the timestamp for files when syncing. Netgear do not care about this. I have 2tb of data destroyed.

We are aware of the issue where timestamps are not preserved. We hope to address this in a future firmware update.
In the meantime there is a community Dropbox app that you could try if you like: https://rnxtras.com/addons/dropbox-manager-readynas-6-x86- ulfrickardssonAspirant
In that case, you should stop advertising that you have a functional dropbox sync. In my case, I have spent 5 months uploading data that has been destroyed. Also, when I asked for help in the beginning you didn’t recognize the problem. Now you show me a functional app that has been live since 2014?

For some users timestamp preservation is more important than for others. I can understand that timestamp preservation is important to you.
The 3rd party Dropbox app is only for x86_64 devices such as your 314 whereas the built in Dropbox backup functionality works on all our devices that run ReadyNAS OS 6.
