Duo operations lost after power outage - Need advise

I have the the Duo version 1. A power outage/brown out occurred and it is not working correctly. I cannot connect with Raidar and drives don't show up on my network any longer. The unit is running with fan on high full time now. The two green LEDs are alternatively flashing for the past 24 hours, no blue LED at all. Tried the reset button per website instructions and get no change. I can only shut off the unit by unplugging the Duo. Turning the unit back on works though.
Any ideas to get things working without losing my data?

You can also try turning off the duo, and connecting the first disk to a PC. Linux Reader (http://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/) is a freeware program that should let you access the data, and copy it off. (That assumes that the data volume is intact, but the OS or hardware has an issue).
  • Thanks for the link to diskinternals!
I'm assuming its a total loss for the NAS, just the two green lights alternating and the fan is all that's left.
