Connecting to NAS via browser (Opera and Chrome) I am not landing on the Frontview page, instead being directed to the two shares I have created and I can access the folders witin those two shares. Other shares are not shown.
What happens with https://nas-ip-address/admin ?
Do you have a backup of the data? If not, try \\nas-ip-address in the Windows 7 File Explorer address bar, and if that shows you the shares, then make one. Be careful on the slash direction.

I got to the Frontview landing page by typing https://mac-address/admin
Everything looks pretty much as I expected it to look though.

Some of your symptoms sound like the OS partition is filling. It would be very wise to back up the data promptly.
Do you have ssh enabled on the NAS?

If mac-address works, that must be the hostname of your NAS. Using the IP address should also work.

NAS is not discovered by LG Smart TV (2017 model).
Most Smart TVs are using DLNA to play local media. If your LG is doing that, then you should check that ReadyDLNA is still enabled.
