I got to the Frontview landing page by typing https://mac-address/admin
Everything looks pretty much as I expected it to look though.

Some of your symptoms sound like the OS partition is filling. It would be very wise to back up the data promptly.
Do you have ssh enabled on the NAS?

If mac-address works, that must be the hostname of your NAS. Using the IP address should also work.

Most Smart TVs are using DLNA to play local media. If your LG is doing that, then you should check that ReadyDLNA is still enabled.

I don't use SSH.
I've tried removing some files off the NAS so it us 75% full atm.
Yes, the essential, important files are backed up off-NAS and off-site. I might take a look at backing up some other stuff I'd hate to have to recreate.

The OS partition is not the same as the data volume.
SSH is the safest way to check the OS partition.
You can try downloading the logs from the web ui, and look at the first line in disk_usage.log. There is some risk - if the OS partition is full, downloading the logs can brick your NAS. It can be recovered with shell access or by Netgear support.
