Enabling alerts
Hi there.
I currently use a ReadyNAS 316 and am trying to enable alerts to my gmail address. I've set the "email options" to "automatic" which seems to have recognised my email as a gmail account, and input the smtp.gmail.com under "email account provider". It has also auto filled the "advanced settings".
However when i try to send a test message i get the error: "Unable to send a test message. Cannot send test message. Check authentification settings". Im a bit lost as to how to get this to work. IF anyone could posssible help it would be much appreciated.
Regards.
You do need to enable "less secure apps" on the gmail account.
