Expansion limit RN104
I have two 1 TB Seagate Barracuda disks that i removed from my Duo V1 when expanding to 2x2 TB, and now i am thinking about getting a RN104 and put these 2 disks in this. Does the 8 TB expansion li...
Actually i am using WD Red in my Duo, and when i get the RN104, i was planning on eventually usind Reds. I just think it would be a shame to have 2 perfectly working 1 TB drives on the shelf, when they could be used for storage. I was then planning on expanding with 2 additional 4 TB Red drives, and even later exchange the 1 TB drives with 4 TB, to get a total of 12 TB.
