Thanks for the info. I have some very basic knowledge of Linux and Samba, but how do I get to a console? I often use Putty to establish a SSH connection to a Debian firewall but what port do I connect to the NAS? I tried SSH with port 22 on the IP adress of the NAS and get a connection refused.
