Foobar monitor a path on the NAS like a path on a harddrive?

I would like a litle help, it would be apreciated.
I am considering buying a Netgear Ready Nas NV+ 4 Bay Version two.
I use a Segate 3 TB for my music and use Foobar player for now.
Question 1.
I was wondering, is it possible to add a folder path in Foobar, using the Netgear Ready Nas NV+ 4 Bay.
Like you would do with an external hard drive in foobar, without using UPNP?
It will make it much easier to handle the music if it could handle the music in Foobar, like it would do using an path on an external harddrive/harddrive on the computer who it is monitoring.
