You replaced the /var/www folder with a symlink. This broke the firmware update.

Hi there,

Tried both of these, system appears to be always attempting FW update, followed by the error code above.

Think what I need is some way to stop the system attempting the FW update loop

When booting, I get message saying checking root FS - OK, so happy that file system is OK. Also system is pingable, so network OK as well.

I have exactly the same problem and thought I'd removed the symlink but obviously didn't.
Now I have the error code, I've tried cold boot and OS reinstall, is there anyway I can swap the symlink and the orginal folder back so that it can proceed?

  You tried copying the symlink's target to /var/www?
