Hi I just installed my ReadyNAS NV+ V2. I'm trying to copy all my music from my PC to the NAS, but I'm getting the error message 0x80070027 all the time and when I just push try again it continues wit...

MDGM, thanx for your reply.
Yes, i have tested the trix in this thread and it didn't helped me :(
I have tested the same disks (SATA 2TB) with just USB-connection and then it was no problem to copy the files even over the network, so there can't be any clean network issue, perhaps a combinated Netgear-NAS/network problem (i also use Netgear as network switch/router). The first test i made was with source disk on USB2 and the destination NAS network-connected with RAID1, then i have tested different setups, different computers and OS but still gets the same disk problem, after that i googled the problem and got here. Of course i can just drop the NAS, put the disk on USB and use a CMD-skript to simulate the RAID1-setup but what is the point of having a NAS then.
Perhaps there is a fix or workaround to this problem but the hole idea with buying a NAS is to have a simple not complex (nice looking), hot swapping backup-solution with no need of a fileshare server to support the storage and with as little problem as possible. :)
I mean no disrespect to anyone or Netgear, i am only a dissapointed customer that happens to like Netgear-products, easiest and least time-consuming for me is just to buy another product. The time spent writing and trying to solve this problem is for me far greater than the cost of just buying another NAS. Not all have that kind of choice and that is why i took the time to give this feedback.
I still hope there will come out a firmware fix that compensate for this problem, so that we don't have to trix us around this bug. If so many have the same issue isn't there something in the support or product that needs some attention? There are other NAS products on the market, they have the same customers with the same skills, same OS, and same type of networks and they don't have this problem. I will buy another NAS and if i still get the same problem then i will belive there is something wrong with my network or other hardware setup but until then the only faulty parameter right now is the netgear-NAS.
Take care and thanks for your time and effort.
