I have this problem too, but only from one of my 2 PCs.
I have firmware version 5.3.4
Both of my PCs windows7 64bit
I tried to copy a dvd iso image of 7GB to the NAS. It failed with the "disk is full" error. I made several attempts but no luck. I then copied the file via my network to the other PC and from there to the NAS, no problems.
I can copy the file back to the PC from the NAS with no problems.
The network controller on the failing PC is a Realtek PCIe GBE family controller.
The network controller on the working PC is a Marvell Yukon 88E8056 GBE controller.
My router is a Netgear DGN3500
update:
I've noticed that when transfering files, the port lights on my router flicker very rapidly as expected for the ports attached to the sending PC and the NAS . After a while, they go nearly solid for a few seconds (maybe a couple of brief flashes), then the one connected to my PC goes out for about a second and then I get the error.
Hope this helps diagnose the problem.
All my equipment is Gbit.
