Guest access / password on USB share
I have two X6 units, configured identically. I added an external USB drive share to both boxes. Both are found on my network, but both ask for a Guest password before access. I didn't set a password, ...
It depends on how you configured the shares. Did you allow guest access to the shares? If you don't allow guest access then you will need to login. Note however that once you've logged in as a user to e.g. access a USB share you can access ordinary shares that user has access to and vice versa without being prompted for credentials again till e.g. after you reboot.
I don't think we allow it to be changed for USB drives.
Since the product has been EOL for years this won't change.
