Hard Disk Warranty

I bought a ReadyNAS Pro 18 months ago from DABS.com
At the time I purchased the NAS, Netgear had an offer regarding hard disks.
From memory I think it was on the basis that if I bought one disk they would give me another free.
Anyway I opted for the 2TB disk and was sent a Seagate ST32000542AS

Unfortunately the disk has failed. I believe the warranty on this disk is 3 years.

I can't seem to find any record of the disk. Does anyone recall this offer and does anyone know how I get it replaced under warranty.

  • If you call into Netgear Support, we can look up the NAS by the serial # and we can see what type of warranty is active.
