support stated that my unit is not out of warranty and I need to extend if it I want them to take a look at it.
I don't know if it is worthwhile to extend the contract. Can I take the existing hard drives and put them in a new ReadyNas and it will "recognize" the data?
I did run a USB back-up. What time of format is the USB back-ups? Can I just hook it up to my computer? I don't know if it's worth paying for support if there are other options.
