home/user share snapshots

Using OS 6.5.1, the process for enabling snapshot protection for user home shares is extremely non-intuitive (assuming I've finally got it right.)   This is a fresh installation on brand new drives...

BTW, mdgm-ntgr, I just got one of those (annoying) popups asking for website feedback while in the middle of typing this forum reply.  Can someone please contact *whoever* is responsible for the website and let them know that there are certain website activities where those popups are Very Bad?
