I just can't delete time machine

Thanks MDGM! At least now I can see the .timemachine files from Finder. My problem now is trying to delete the actual sparsebundles within that file to free up space. Deleting them leads to a dialog box that says "deleting" the file but never ends (it did with the 1st file after a long time, but I have several other sparsebundles, and they stay in a "deleting" state for over 24 hrs without deleting. Even when I click the "X" to stop deleting, then it just says "stopping" forever. I also tried creating a new share called "tempTM" and tried moving the files there (in order to then delete that share), but I just get a dialog that says "preparing to move to "tempTM" but nothing happens in over 24 hrs (there's a faded file name that appears in the tempTM but the file never finishes moving).

All very frustrating. Have rebooted computer, ReadyNas (doing volume scan and checking/fixing quotas), etc.
