Initialize disk on eSATA port
Is there a way to initilize a new disk when it's plugged into the eSATA port? I've tried connecting a fresh disk, the NAS detects the connection but doesn't show it when looking at the shares.

You need to create a volume on it via the admin web ui, and then create shares on the volume.
I can't find the disk to be able to create a volume on it. I've just connected another disk and got the message:
'External storage device is connected but the file system is not reconized'.
I can't find any options to initilize or format it?
On the Admin page System/Overview click the gearwheeel next to the USB drive then format
