insane high Local Cycle Count after expansion

If you just purchased, you perhaps could simply exchange it from the seller (maybe for the equivalent Seagate).
Though personally I would not be concerned about a 100K cycle count, as long as it doesn't continue to climb. I have several WDC disks with cycle count around 1 M which are all working fine. So in my experience they exceed the spec on the data sheet by a considerable margin.
WDC green disks have the same issue, so keep an eye on the LCC count after resync.
