is duo config file compat with 314 model?

I know theres no upgrade path but is there anything I can port over?

I don't necessarily have alot of users but it would be wonderful if I could set up user and file profile so copying and pasting files is the least of my trouble.

My only other gripe is the 314 doesn't have a dedicated usb port on the front and I have to get used to a sata/usb port since it makes me a tad nervous plugging in ( it did not feel like it was possible and have yet to try again[yet])

Thanks for any heads up to ease either task.

  • O.k and a question also... If I did have a large amount of users is there a mechanism to import from another file (outlook list, csv?) or domain. My original nas had a domain field but I was was never sure of it having a feature like that.

This is something I hope to only do once and want to make sure I can add in the best fashion without hiring a data entry employee.
  • Does that mean it has that option to get users on a domain? I'd still be more interested in more local options like comma seperated value or exporting an outlook file to get all.the user folders and access up in a reasonable amount of time.

I took the long road to probably getting my files off the duo(duo to 2.0 external) so I hoped there was some way to make my life easier with the info I had from it. The 314's been out for a year and was hoping someone built a script to convert over to os6 by now.
