iSCSI not reconnecting

Like Gary https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-in-Business/iSCSi-won-t-reconnect/m-p/971430

ReadyNAS drops a connection from a server 2012 box and won't reconnect.  I only started having this problem after upgrading to Firmware 6.5. Only thing that recovers is a reboot of the NAS.

Get authentication errors in the windows server logs on iSCSI but guess what! No CHAP authentication enabled...

Very frustrating. Just updated to FW 6.5.1 which I'm hoping has a "secret" fix in it since it came out just days after 6.5.

The release notes from 6.3.5 indicate changes to iSCSI as well as the OS kernel and I am guessing something in 6.5 broke something because this box was bullet proof with 6.3.5. This has happened twice in the last week, coincidently when the box is running a scrub.
