iTunes Server – 'no items'

Yep, I've restarted both the NAS service and the service on the share itself, with restarts in between – no effect. Actually, that's not quite true. Now when I select the NAS in iTunes, it shows 'Loading NAS' for a moment and then flips immedialtely back to the local library.

Have you tried adding DNS server addresses manually on the NAS NIC setting as well?

    I just tried this, but no effect. What is this intended to fix for the iTunes server..? The NAS works normally otherwise.
