Legacy ultra 4plus. Raidiator 4.2.31,windows 10 and 7-BACKUP DOES NOT WORK!

Hi Guys,

Final ditched effort!

Searched the whole forum had some great input from Guru StephenB.

But still fustrated that back up service does not work at all...access denied to remote windows shares.

Tried all the possible permutations and last resort was to come back to the forum to see if anyone has resolved this problem, AS CLEARLY NETGEAR ARE NOT BOTHERED! After this I shall have to purchase a third party back up utility to carry out scheduled backups...which is annoying to say the least.

So has anyone managed to resolve the access denied error to windows shares, I have tried all the recommendations so far but to no avail.
