Anyone find a solution to this? Having similar problem here. Users are connected via smb on MACs. I get daily complaints about files either being read only or not seen at all.
When I run the CIFS Advanced option to reset Ownership and rights on all files, everything gets fixed. I am finding that I have to run this every day which is obviously a pain to do.
The default share access is set as Read/write and all users belong to the same group.
Any info or suggestions would be much appreciated.
