Many Duplicates for shared resource shown on player devices
I store copies of the DVDs that I own my NAS in the Media folder. On some playing devices, I see many copies of the same file. When I look at the folder on my Mac or Windows machines, I only find one...

Go into the web ui (system->settings->services). Select ReadyDLNA, and click the Rescan button. After the Rescan completes, the duplicates should disappear.
Please do post back, and let us know if the rescan takes care of it.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I think the duplicates show up on DLNA devices. I am using a LG Blueray Network Player, BPM35. Are these duplicates some kind of cache from the player? Can you get rid of them?

Thank you! That worked great. I'll do that regularly in future as what the player sees is out of sync with the reality of the files in the media folder.
