Memory upgrade (Ultra 4 & NVX Pioneer Edition)
Hello, Been searching the forum a bit, but couldn't fint any specific information about memory-upgrade to the Ultra 4 & the NVX Pioneer Edition. Both my machines has 1GB installed out of the box...

1. One though they would take different memory to each other.
2. Replace memory module, run a few passes of the memory test boot menu option.
3. DDR2. You should get memory that matches as closely as possible the specs of the stock module.
4. The Ultra 4 will take 4GB. Not sure about the NVX/NVX Pioneer but that probably takes 2GB.
6. If the memory is bad, incompatible or not inserted correctly and this manages to go undetected and the NAS boots you could encounter data corruption. So you do need to be careful
Is there a reason why you wish to do a memory upgrade? 1GB should be plenty for most users.
