Migrate from ReadyNas 314 to RN3138
Hoping someone with knowledge can advise... I have been running a Readynas 314 in our office for the past 7 years. All is fine still but have acquired a diskless brand new RN3138 which i was consid...

Yes, all users and config should all be intact when you transfer the disks to the RN3138 since both units have the same OS.

- Just one more question... My 314 is up-to-date on firmware with Version 6.10.3. The RN3138 is on 6.10.2. Is this a problem? Should I update it first before migrating?

Do you already have disks installed in the RN3138 that would still be installed post-migration? (for example, if you have 2 disks in the RN314 now, and two disks already in the RN3138). If you do, then the situation is more complicated - and simply moving the disks to the RN3138 won't work.
- The 3138 has been factory reset and no disks, will move the 4x1tb disks across from the 314 and upgrade in future when needed. I just powered up the 3138 to check boots ok.
Hoping to do this seamlessly tonight when all office staff go home.
