MKV showing as MPEG via DLNA
Hi, I purchased the Netgear NV+V2 NAS, I have copied a few MKV's and M2TS files to test it works via my Sony BDP 490, now the MKV files wont play, interestingly these files show up as MPEG on the blu-...
I had exactly this issue with a Sony BDP-S790. After first raising the problem on the avsforums I saw Mark The red had managed to get the fix with miniDLNA to work on his system so tried recompiling the binaries for my NV+. Sure enough, it works!
Of course, this won't help you on your v2 ARM system, but at least we now know what the issue is. If someone would like to recompile miniDLNA into ReadyDLNA with the patch applied then all the Sony Blu Ray users who are currently having a hell of a bad time will be a lot happier.

I have put a request for the coders amongst us to issue an add-on patch in this thread...
