Mountain Lion Compatibility
Is there any early word on Mountain Lion compatibility for the ReadyNAS models?

- dizzydevAspirantJust did a clean install of ML on a two year-old MBP. Install seemed to go fine and AFP shares are showing up just the way they should - no worries so far there. However, I can't see the ReadyNAS in the Time Machine browser - it's like it doesn't exist. Haven't had a ton of time to play with it, but at first glance it seems something changed somewhere as browsing for Time Machine on the ReadyNAS works spiffy on my old 10.7 installs ...
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee Retireddizzydev what version of RAIDiator do you have installed?
- dizzydevAspirantPro Business, RAIDiator 4.2.21.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredInteresting I would've thought it would've worked on that. I think I'll download Mountain Lion and give it a test with my system.
- dizzydevAspirantI thought the same. I also tried logging into the share before trying to select it with Time Machine, but no juice. Any ideas you have would be much appreciated. Hopefully Apple didn't pull a last-minute flanker with the ML release.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredI can still see Time Machine for ReadyNAS units from all three platforms in Mountain Lion. I didn't do a clean install though.
Have you tried rebooting your Mac and rebooting your ReadyNAS? - dizzydevAspirantTried rebooting both and still can see nothing. The regular AFP shares are working fine, and other network connectivity seems fine as well. Has anyone else done a clean install of ML and connected to a Time Machine network volume (ReadyNAS or other)?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredHave you tried doing an OS Re-install on your ReadyNAS?
Have you tried installing Mountain Lion on any of your other Macs? If you saved the InstallESD.dmg you could use that to install to a USB hard drive connected to another Mac if you prefer. - dizzydevAspirantThe ReadyNAS is in production, so wouldn't be able to do any more extensive testing until the weekend (fortunately I grabbed a quick window today to do the reboot). I don't have any other non-production Macs on which I can install ML - so at this point I'm stuck for a couple days. Hopefully the experiences of others will either find the problem or tell me what I'm missing!
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredJust out of interest is the Mac connected to your network via ethernet or wireless? Another user is also having issues (though a bit different): http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=65423
