    No worries, I've moved the database to one of my other servers and removed MySQLon from the ReadyNAS - it's been happily sleeping for an hour now.

     

    Sad that the thing that alterted me to an issue was the huge spike in my electricity bill - it used to sleep under 4.2.27 until I upgraded it to 4.2.28T6, downgrading had no effect. Still, the issue is in effect sorted now :)
