NAS Home Folder Acces via FTP (Netgear ReadyNAS 314) needs restart

It seems that the home folder access got lost from time to time. If this is due to an system update or due to a simple restart I cannot find out at the moment. Anyway, the access to the home folders has worked, but suddenly it stopped working. The solution has been simple:

1. Login into the NAS admin Webfrontend

2. Goto "Shares" in the top line

3. Click on Home Folders (which have been shared via FTP in my case)

4. Open Settings of the home folder and Access

5. Switch off the FTP Access and press Apply

6. Goto Settings again and switch on the FTP Access again and confirm with OK

In my case now the access of the home folders works again.

The NAS has been running with Firmware version 6.10.3.
