New disk in NV+ v2 and 'Volume expansion failed'
Good evening, I'd like to ask the members/experts about an expansion problem I'm having. I've done a search and suspect it's the usual 8TB volume expansion problem that seems to occur now and agai...
You aren't at the 8 TB limit, since you started at 2 TB volume size and are headed for 8 TB. So the growth is only 6 TB.
You won't get to 4x4TB though, you will need to reset before then. So one option is to bite the bullet and do it now.
I think your volume is redundant though, just not at the capacity it should be at. Since you started with 2 TB, the expansion happens in 2 phases (2 TBs in each phase). The second phase failed for some reason.
