New router not finding my Ultra 2
I just changed out my old router to the Asus RT-N66U. My Ultra 2 will not be recognized by it. I installed the latest RAIDar version, and there it shows up just fine with green lights. RAIDar also shows blue light when i did a restart from the power button. It seems to be a problem with the IP-address. RAIDar shows 192.168.0.199 but the router only give 192.168.1.1 and upwards.. I tried seting the 0.199 address into the router, but it came up as invalid.
How can the RAIDar program "see" my server? And why isn`t the router giving the server a new IP?
ANYONE??

My server was "stuck" with the old IP. I set the IP frame in the router to start with 192.168.0.1 and not the default 192.168.1.1. Then the server`s old IP was recognized. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserYou probably assigned the ultra a static address - which is why the router didn't give it a new IP (the ultra did't ask for one, since it wasn't using DHCP).
If the Asus supports "address reservation" then you could use dhcp in the ultra, and still get a constant IP address. This is generally better, as it would avoid this problem in the future (when you change routers again)
