NFS Write Enabled Local Host - Ignored!
On my several years old Readynas Duo. I have the following set up:
Share list - media - nfs options
Default access: read only
Write enabled hosts: dv-460mt.local
I can access media from dv-460mt but can only read the files and cannot write.
To confirm that my duo knows what address dv-460mt is on, I have logged on to my duo over ssh and can successfully ping dv-460mt.
Ideas please as to what I might be doing wrong or what I might try next? Thank you.

- chirpaLuminaryOn some of these fields, only IP addresses will work. If you try it by IP, does it work properly?
- pdharg1AspirantI assume it would but I have dynamic addresses.
Do you know why hostname does not work, maybe I can fix it? - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserCan you reserve the addresses in the router? Then you'd have the benefits of DHCP, combined with the ability to have predictable IP addresses.
