Hopefully I get a response and some help from these forums. I searched these forums and found nothing directly related to my issues. Others were making changes, etc. when issues arose. Here goes:...

I definitely have a v1. Checked your link anyway and just by the back of the unit it's a v1.
As for the firmware, I have RAIDiator 4.1.13.
I want to preface my point by saying that all folders have been public folders. No permissions have ever been set on any files or folders.
When I did what you mentioned I noticed that the "group rights" and "everyone rights" for the share were set to disabled. After doing what you mentioned the problem has been fixed. Although it seemed obvious, I never thought to check the permissions because I never changed them. What I don't understand now is why the permissions changed. I did not change them. Also, I was the only one accessing the files at the time and I was on a network player that I've used many times before without issue. Not to mention a network player does not have the capability to even change permissions on the nas. Any ideas?
Thanks for fixing my issue and for taking the time to help. I appreciate it.
