NV+ died, can I just install disks into a Pro 6?
Hi! My old trusty NV+ didn't survive a recent move - it's as dead as a doornailed dodo, won't power up at all. Since it's out of warranty, I'm thinking of replacing it with a ReadyNAS Pro 6, but...

Hi!
Thanks for your replies!
No, my NV+ doesn't even have a serial in hex (contains the chars "J" and "T"), and the label says "RND4410", which seems to indicate it's a v2.
I've found another retailer that sells v2's, so the fastest way to just get my backups on track again seems to be to just get another v2 (again, assuming the disks are unharmed).
If you know of any reason that might not be a good plan, please speak up. :D
