NV+ RAID Settings corrupted?

hello

i use an nv+ with x-raid configuration and 4 WDC WD20EARS disks.

recently i had two power outages within a short timeframe.

while the display on the NAS still shows the correct status (0.7 of 5.4 TB free) the admin webpage shows that drive c is online with 0% of 0 MB used.
hard disk settings show in 3 drives that there is 0 mb available and for 1 drive that there are 1860 gb free.

access via ftp is not possible any more (connection refused). in windows netword and apple network, the shares are visible. when trying to access via windows, sometimes also some files are visible but most of the time an error occurs (file not found, network name not available, ...)

is there any way to recover my data?

  • Do you have an NV+ v1 or v2?
Is the unit still under warranty, if so, contact support.
Even if it isn't, if a simple OS reinstall doesn't work you should probably try them, they may charge a fee, but if the data is important it may be worth it.

I will assume from you question that you do not have a backup.
Check the disk smart attributes from Frontview to check that the disks are ok.
If the disks are ok, I would suggest first trying an OS reinstall using the boot menu:
