NV+ stuck on booting, including after trying os reinstall
I have an old NV+ from around 2005-2006 (I don't exactly recall). I have long since lost track of any warranty or support options that came with it that I may have registered for. I would be open ...
Sorry -- I should have said RAID 1. Big difference! I'm going to fix that in the
original post. I don't know what firmware I'm running because I didn't write it down and I can't boot
it up now.
I do have suspicions that this failure was triggered by a recent electrical outage. I
used to have the NV+ on a UPS, but the UPS died (second to die, actually) and I had
not gotten arond to replacing it. Lesson learned ,there.
I've emailed support -- I guess I'll see what they say. I'm pretty hopeful the
data is intact on at least one of the two mirrored disks, so it seems logical that
recovering it shouldn't be too much of an ordeal.
