NV+ stuck on booting, including after trying os reinstall

Thanks for the info! I actually have both Windows and Linux PCs handy for trying to sort this out, so it sounds like I should be able to do it.
I'm a little surprised about the disk 2 situation. I'm nervous that if the same problem that affected the NV+ affected the wrong disk, I might have trouble recovering. If there were a need to read the data off the raw image on disk #2, is there any utility to do it?
Anyway, fingers crossed that disk 1 is still A-ok.
