NV+ v2 hdd removal

Hello all,

I need to remove a 2TB drive from my NAS and for the moment I won't be replacing it, I have it configured to the default (RAIDX2 I think) will this cause data loss?

If you are running XRAID-2, then what will happen is that you will lose redundancy. Data will still be available, but you would lose any protection from a disk failure of the remaining drives.

This is not a good mode to leave the NAS in for the long term, but it will continue to work. Of course you should confirm the RAID mode before you remove the disk.
