Thanks vandermerwe for your interest.
You are the first person to show any, even though I tried different sources of possible assistance before coming here.
CIFS for share "backup" has Default Access set as Disabled.
Under Share Access Restrictions, I have Write-enabled users entered: "copy" (which does the backup of files copying) and "ro" (which is my profile) and Write-enabled groups: "users".
Under Advanced CIFS Permission I have Group rights: "Read/write" and Everyone rights: Disabled and the same settings in the following window (When new folders are created over CIFS, set folder permissions as follows: Group: R/W Everyone: Disabled).
Under Advanced tab, for share "backup", Advanced Share Permissions have the following settings:
Share folder owner and share folder group are set to "admin", and Read/write permissions for owner/group/everyone.
Also ticked is Grant rename and delete privileges to non-owner of files.
Thanks again for your involvement.
