NVX stuck on booting
After firmware upgrade. Boot menu is accessible, but factory default/OS install/tech support will still stuck on "booting" message forever. Memory test still works. I had tried to unplug the power supply, all hard disks, no help at all.
Anything else I can do?
BTW, before this unit is fixed or replaced, can I transfer all 4 hard drives to an empty PRO6 unit and access all my data?
Thanks in advance

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserYou should be able to migrate your disks to a pro6.
If you purchased in 2010, you could contact support. You could also try skipping the boot volume check, and see what happens.
If you a scratch disk (not part of the array), you could power down, remove all disks, and install just the scratch disk and see what happens. - gm714AspirantI have the same problem. I was running 4.2.22 for many months. When backup jobs failed, I logged into the admin interface and it prompted me for an upgrade. Since the upgrade was dated Oct 2014, I thought it might be safe. After upgrading to 4.2.27, I was able to login to the web ui and kick off one of the failed backup jobs. At the same time, I was connected to a CIFS share. After about 10 minutes, my windows OS showed me disconnected from the CIFS share, and pings to the NVX stopped working. I waited for about 20 minutes but nothing was working (no web gui, no ping, no CIFS shares).
I reluctantly did a hard reset by holding down the power button. After that the LCD reads "Booting..." and has been like this for over an hour. I can ping the NVX IP address but RAIDAR doesn't see the device and the web ui comes back with "web page is not avaialble"
Any thoughts?
