Am I missing something ... I already have a filter on the log window, with categories:
ALL CATEGORIES, SYSTEM, DISK, VOLUME, SHARE, BACKUP, ACCOUNT and MISELLAENOUS.
I also suggested adding SNAPSHOT to the list as per my item 3.
